Roy Bova, the founder/CEO of Class Athlete Inc., an organization that serves over 1,500 young athletes in various sports is our new incoming president. With his vast knowledge and contacts in the youth sports business, he plans to expand and continue the mission of HelpKidsPlaySports.org (HKPS). HKPS was founded in the Fall of 2013 by Kevin Masih (founder), Lance Ragland (co-founder) and James Rudolph (co-founder). The nonprofit 501(c)(3) public charity was started by these "sports dads" to generate donations from the community to help provide sports scholarship money to clubs and organizations for young athletes (12 and under) whose families are in need. Since 2013, HKPS has raised and donated over $50,000 to help local children participate in sports.

Statistics don't lie. We know that children who are given the opportunity to participate in sports tend to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives. But there is often a cost or circumstance that could keep that child from playing youth sports. We want to help organizations help those kids.
