HelpKidsPlaySports.org (HKPS) recently donated $500 to the Center for Horsemanship And Personal Success (CHAPS) to help waive participation fees for underfunded local youth in need of equine therapy. The check was presented by HKPS founder & president, Kevin Masih.

CHAPS, based in Sanford, FL, is a 501c(3) non-profit charitable organization dedicated to educating, empowering and enriching the community through therapeutic riding programs for youth."Therapeutic horseback riding is the use of horses and equine-assisted activities in order to achieve goals that enhance physical, emotional, social, cognitive, behavioral and educational skills for people who have disabilities," stated Lori Johnson, a PATH Certified Riding Instructor at CHAPS. For more information on the program, go to www.chapscenter.com.

The donation is made possible by supporters of HKPS--donations like these are a result of their generosity and support.
